There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.

TLW got worse for me and JPIII got better. I used to enjoy TLW but after watching it on BD when it first came out I got bored with it really easy while JPIII I found enjoyable.

TLW was always an odd duck for me. If it wasn't Spielberg behind the camera, I'm sure it wouldn't have gotten as much flack, "Of course it's not as good, it wasn't Spielberg". I understand the criticism for it. While I'd go "Oh, hey JP/JP3 is on, sweet!" for the first and third, my reaction for TLW would be more "Well, I haven't seen this in awhile, and there's nothing else. Sure why not."

JP3, I HATED when I first saw it. I walked out of it saying it was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. But I have since seen it several more times and now I really like it. My issue was I hated it for what it wasn't instead of liking it for what it is; a monster romp. Yeah, it has issues; it needed more bodies to chew through (or just elongate the times between them), the loose thread of the Spino not being on InGen's list left dangling instead of being a focus, and a sudden ending.

Who knows, JP4 might take that loose thread and go somewhere great. Hopefully they'll at least deliver another fun monster romp.

The Lost World would irritate me no matter who directed it.

I actually think Spielberg behind the camera is why so many people give it a pass.

If Brett Ratner made a movie with a gymnastics vs. dinosaurs scene, there would be NO defenders of it at all.

I adore The Lost World: Jurassic Park. It's one of my favorite movies and always has been, but I agree that the gymnastics scene is stupid. I'd liken it to the flying dropkick in Godzilla vs. Megalon except I don't get a kick out of it; I just wait for it to be done.

Jurassic Park III is a short, simplistic B-movie. I dug it when I first saw it as a teen, grew sour of it as I got older, but now it's just a fun little guilty pleasure for me. I enjoy the action and it's great to see Sam Neill as Alan Grant again. I can't say I watch it very often, though.
