That costume seems fine. Preferable to the classic look honestly.

She looks like she weighs 90 lbs and that shot of her butt is exploitative at best...I really like that costume that you posted a while back for WW Mouth...men superhero don't have to fight in panties. Seriously, how are we supposed to take her seriously like that?

*edit Also, I kind of had a slight problem with Selina in TDKR...she looks pretty limp wristed and petite to be a worthy hand to hand fighter. Women can be competent fighters, but more often than not, someone picks a dainty Angelina Jolie type actress and expects us to believe she can take down 250 lb tough guys. Sorry, it's a nit pick of mine. I'd feel the same way if I saw Topher Grace beating the crap out of The Rock or something. It's essentially the same thing.

I never had a problem with that; it always gave it kind of an added coolness for me. "There's no way that girl would beat that guy up in real life...that was awesome!" That's just me, though.

And no, I didn't really dig the video. I really want to see a WW movie, and I get what the guy was trying to do, but it didn't seem like the best they could have done.

But none of those characters have taken off like Wonder Woman.

I can't think of another female superhero as prominent and recognizable as Wonder Woman (Supergirl makes a light case).

To with my post on the Captain America thread, here is the Wonder Woman of the 1974 tv movie!

With Cathy Lee Crosby as Wonder Woman, and Ricardo Montalban as the bad guy!

THR:

DC Comics writer Grant Morrison suggests that there isn't anything wrong with Wonder Woman -- but with executives who have 'just convinced themselves' that she could never work onscreen.
