To echo what MFW said (again!), The Black Scorpion is an excellent DVD purchase, the include some Pete Peterson animation footage. I'm also quite a fan of The Giant Behemoth. The only problem with the DVD is the by Tippett and Muren.

I find it ironic that some of you won't see The Beast From Hollow Mountain because Willis O'brien got screwed over on it yet you have no qualms supporting the Showa Ultraman R1 releases which Tsuburaya gets screwed out of because Chaiyo licensed them. :lol:

That being said TNT used to play Beast all the time and I remember enjoying it. Mind you it's been ages since I've seen it. It's worth a view at least once. As for similarties between this and Gwangi the only similarities are there's a dinosaur in modern times and cowboys other than that the similarties differ A LOT.
