I think one of the theories we were tossing around at the end of last season was that the walkers were to easily dealt with by most of the group so the threat was minimal and the introduction of the new people (those deemed unfit to fight) at season's end might introduce more.. looks like that might be the direction they are going

A few nods to the fans of the comic in here too. This looks like the season that should have happened before they introduced the Governor

Yeah, that's a pretty great trailer. Very excited to see what they have in store.

Hopefully with this new show-runner, the show can finally find a consistent footing.

I'll need to know more about the spin off to make a judgement, but so far "following another group of survivors" doesn't sound that interesting/necessary to me. How is this gonna be any different from the show we already have? THat's what I wanna know.

^ ::shrugs:: its further distanced from the constraints and expectations of the comic ?
Kind of like the Telltale TWD video game.

I just watched it last night. Great way to kick off the season. Hopefully it maintains this high level, because after Breaking Bad blew my mind, I'm almost expecting Walking Dead to be a bit of a let down.

Fantastic premiere... the best premiere since the first episode to be honest.

To be honest, I thought the entire "Three Questions" bit did not translate well to the screen.

From the episode title and description I thought it was going to be a slow ramp-up, but man oh man... that was a crazy season opener.
