In August's book, he mentions that the whole series was dubbed and still exists in MGM's vaults. He's also said this on an episode of Kaijucast.

Golden Media Group confirmed last year that they had licensed ULTRA Q from UM Corp. Shout! Factory got ULTRA SEVEN from Golden Media (and Shout's Cliff Macmillan got ULTRAMAN from Golden Media back when he was at BCI) so it's very likely they'll get ULTRA Q, too. Just because it hasn't happened yet is no reason to start thinking it will never happen.

And, if for some odd reason, Shout! Factory passed on ULTRA Q, Golden Media would just offer it to other labels. They didn't spend money to license the show just so they could do nothing with it.

Well I know it's nearly 3 months away but I plan on attending Botcon in San Diego this year. Shout! Factory had a presence there 2 years ago when I went. I'll be sure to ask them personally if we dont get any info in the next 3 months

I heard from Golden Media Group that they did license ULTRA Q to Shout! Factory. So Shout! has the show but there's no word on when they'll release it on DVD.
