I think DC should go the unconventional route. We've already seen dozens of origin story movies. We've seen the massive team-up of The Avengers. I think GDT's supernatural DC movie is the right direction: put these characters in fresh and unusual movies. That unproduced Green Arrow movie where he was an inmate in a maximum security prison for supervillians and he organizes as breakout? That's interesting! Heck, a Superman/Batman movie would be interesting. We've seen the big team-up movie, but not a focus on a one-on-one team up between two heroes. How about Wonder Woman? Where's the big female superhero for filmdom?

I think a period piece would be a great way to do a JL movie. Let Man of Steel be a trilogy and then do a JL that takes place in the 30's and 40's ala New Frontier.
