Naw, I thought it was pretty subpar myself when I first saw it but its one of those movies that just got better and better each time I watched it. I started to notice things I didn't notice at first. Now I love the movie:

Oddly enough most Cronenberg movies leave me a little cold on the first viewing and I like them more later down the line. I kind of think his movies are just designed to be watched more than once.

Well I decided to pick up the Tarantino BD box set that came out several months ago. It has both True Romance and Death Proof on it, which I don't own either (can care less about DP, but no one is streaming TR for free) and it comes with 2 bonus discs about Tarantino, so I figured why the hell not. I might regret it in a week or so, but oh well, buy today regret tomorrow.
