the clive owen segment of Sin City was bad the first time I watched the movie, and has since become insufferable.

Videodrome - this was a first for me. Having seen Shivers, Rabid, The Brood, The Dead Zone, The Fly, Scanners, eXistenZ (though once and many years ago, and in need of a repeat viewing), I can safely say that Cosmopolis is the outlier of crap in an otherwise impeccable Cronenberg filmography.

This movie can be interpreted in a thousand different ways, and even though some of it is a little bit dated and antequated, much of what it has to say is still very much valid.

Videodrome is one of my favorite films evaaaaaah.

I can watch that one over and over and over and over. I got to see it on a beat to sh*t 35mm print a few years ago and it was oddly fitting.

Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III

This is a bad movie. The story is bad, the direction is bad, the costumes and puppets range from poor (Splinter) to nowhere near Henson-level (the Turtles). Pretty much the only good parts just come from my own nostalgia when I hit a bit that I loved as a kid or that my friends liked (I was watching my Turtles VHS tapes by myself and with friends way after the end of Turtlemania).

The Philadelphia Story

Great, great movie. It's a romantic comedy, but it reminds me most of Casablanca, in that they're old Hollywood films that are just stuffed with some of the greatest actors ever just being great at each other.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation - Generally okay. It felt like a G.I. Joe movie this time around, and while there were a few dumb moments, it's several notches above the first film.

Zebraman 2: Attack on Zebra City - ok....ummm...soo...wow.

I didn't like Zebraman's suit at the end though. Too black. And what was with the red?
