Also, it's JJ Abrams. What have we known about any of his movies before seeing them (and sometimes after)?
Cloverfield - a giant monster of some sort on the loose in NYC
Star Trek - a future world with intergalactic travel
Super 8 - an alien gets loose from a train crash

JJ Abrams doesn't spill the beans before release.
