Yeah if Mouth could use some of his hype for this film for Man of Steel it'd prob balance both of them out to a point where he'd actually be able to enjoy them :lol:

To be fair, I 100% agree with everything Mouth said in his last post.

Especially the: "You can't compare it to AVP:R until you see it." part. Comparing a movie that's getting even mixed word-of-mouth reviews to something universally reviled like AVP:R before ever seeing it is just ludicrous.

I'm still seeing this opening weekend. My expectations really haven't lowered at all. I mean, a lot of horror fans dismiss The Ruins and I think that film is a masterpiece. I'm hoping that the new ED is a similiar situation.

The only thing I was trying to argue initially, was that the reviews I had seen had been mixed so I was confused about the overwhelmingly positive comment. Now that you've posted all those links I can see what you're talking about.
