Speaking of comics and Godzilla.... by far the best comic i read in 2012 (sorry 'Saga') was the second volume of Brahm Revel's 'Guerillas'. Which i can't say enough nice things about... Anyway since the guy draws a pretty mean ape, and i like his style i commissioned a King Kong vs Godzilla sketch. (The only direction was that i was looking for an iconic Kong and an iconic Godzilla, nothing specific to any movie...) so here is the final 11x14 product which is soon to be hanging in my home office.

Anwyay, i am thrilled with how it turned out... so in closing if you like monkeys, mad german scientists, fictional stories about the vietnam war or good writing check out Braham Revel's 'Guerillas' available through Oni Press.

^^^ I LOVE the old school VHS cover art like on those tapes. I have kept all of my tape boxes with the idea of building a large shadowbox to put them on display as a wall hanging. Maybe one of these days .... :lol:

Those are awesome and looking back now, G 85's face was on everything when I was growing up lol. No wonder that's one of my favorite Godzillas to this day.
