Just as long as she has a bow tie and gets transformed into a werewolf and a giant turtle I'm okay with it.

I haven't read that article yet, so I'm not going to make a huge assumption, but I care about the character enough to know that some changes just don't really need to happen.

David Goyer's comments here don't do much but confirm my reservations.

Is it just me, or does Goyer's comment not really make any sense. Did the other Superman movies act like he wasn't a big deal? Was ET realistic? Shouldn't Superman be idealistic? Huh?

I love David Goyer, but these comments don't do much but confirm my fears about this movie and that him and the Nolans were all wrong to head up this project. Until/unless the movie proves me wrong (which it still could, we'll see), that's the way I'll always feel.

There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.

Yeah, they really don't seem to be pushing it, which is odd because its supposedly going to kick start the JLA franchise in some fashion.

Did Man of Steel even get a Super Bowl spot?

Superman did not get a Super Bowl spot. There's not really much more to be said about this. Like usual, it doesn't seem like they care. You'd think with Nolan's name attached to it, fresh off of the success of Batman they'd be screaming about it all over the place. To me it feels like they have this "Ah, well, everybody else is making superhero movies. Why don't we just throw one out there and see what happens" attitude about the whole thing.

Supes is gonna have a lot more post production work than a Batman... probably on par with Iron Man, but this is his third rodeo in a relatively short time frame so I'm sure the tools and ground works for the more intensive SFX shots are already in place... the teaser Supes got at comic con disappointed a little because it was heavy on introspection... Zodd barely shows up at all... I think we'll see something impressive when post-prod is done... also based on the number of movie tie in toys already announced, it would look like Superman will be pushed more than IM or Batman for kids

That sounds right on par with what I've been hoping for in this movie. I know most of you have Pac Rim in your number one slot for this summer, for me, it's Man of Steel hands down.
