Personally, I know it's cliche, but I think SONY makes the best blu-ray players. Of course, I only looked at players under $175 the last time I looked into buying one.

One thing I'll say, the "fast loading" ones all get terrible reviews. A number of people have complained about them scratching their blu-rays.

Thanks for the feedback. Sony was the first Blu-Ray I had before I got the Ps3. I gave it to my dad cause his dvd player died. I don't want to take it from him now.
