The "Man of Steel" filmmaker is not developing a "Seven Samurai"-style "Star Wars" off-shoot, his rep tells THR

I know it wasn't the case, but to me "The Avengers" was sort of a high-tech take on "Seven Samurai" (we could have had Agent Colson as that seventh member and why not? He was more memorable than Hawkeye! :D)
