It appears in the Godzilla (1985) TPB

So i guess that picture wasn't the Art Adams that was in the portfolio, so i must only have it in the trade...

anyway Dark Horse released 2 portfolios


Portfolio 1 (from left to right, top to bottom)

Geoff Darrow, Mike Mignola, Kieth Giffen, Steve Bissette, Chris Warner
Rick Geary, Charles Vess, Jim Bradrick, Harrison Fong, Alex Wald


I really love the top row from portfolio 2... there are some "odd" choices in here (like why does Jim Bradrick have a looney tunes squirrel in his art) and there are a couple i don't care for at all....

Now on to the asterisks...
This print has contributions from multiple artists (Ryan Brown, Kevin Eastman, Peter Laird, Steve Lavigne, Steve Bissette, Michael Dooner, Eric Talbot and Jim Lawson) and despite Dark Horse not having permission to other Toho characters this print includes many (Rodan, Mechagodzilla, Baragon, mothra, Mechanikong, King Ghidorah and Frankenstein... also there is a tiny Superman in there!!!)..

Anyway it's pretty cool to see the creators of Hellboy, TMNT and the Watchmen all taking a swing at the big G

I think my 2 favorites are the Mike Mignola and the Keith Giffen pieces

A local sushi restaurant near me used to have a "Godzilla roll"... but this past year it was a renamed the "Gangnam Style roll" ugh...
