Snow! We got an inch of snow! Just enough to make everything outside pretty, but not enough to make driving a hassle! Yay! :) We're exchanging gifts later today.

Got a nice chuck o'change, the CM Punk "Best in the World" DVD, and the Beach Boys "Smile" boxed set.

Got my brother a new blender, and we teamed up to get Mom a new iPad, case, and router.

From the in-laws: Parkzone Ultra Micro RC Spitfire. I've had the micro P-51 for a few years and have crashed & rebuilt it so many times that it's on its last legs. Can't wait to try out its new replacement! And I've always loved the Spitfire! One of the prettiest planes ever made!

And for anyone interested, a little I'm telling you, these micro planes are TONS of fun. The fact that they're quite cheap & easy to repair (I completely rebuilt the P-51 with all new exterior parts, only reusing the engine, servos, and control rods, for about $40) makes them my only choice rc planes.

I got some sculpey and some sculpting tools, PotA Bluray collection and a couple kaiju figures that I didn't have :)... In the bottom corner you can see the arm of a greedy little Christmas elf, that got a lot more presents than that.

From my wife:
A Rubik's cube
A bunch of clothes for work: ties, shirts, socks, undershirts, etc which I needed...except for ties, I don't wear ties to work, but I do wear them to special occasions and things so it's still cool to have some new matching ties.
WWE'12
Army of Two
^(my wife shares my unenthusiastic take on the high prices of brand-new games)
Halo 4
^(but she also loves me  )
A wrought-iron Star of Texas to hang on the garage outside. Similar to this one:

(I keep forgetting about this last gift, even though it was a big surprise and REALLY cool, because it was too big to wrap)
Gills.

Didn't make it back home for Xmas (sorry, but as much as I miss my folks sometimes, I absolutely refuse to drop $1000 to St. Louis, Missouri of all places...would rather spend Xmas right here in Tokyo thank you very much 8-) ), so I didn't get much of interest, such as cool G figures like I usually pick up around Xmas. Nevertheless, I did get a few interesting items of note:

PS3 games(love that the PS3 is region 3 :D )
Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition
Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition
Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare

Grand Theft Auto V (pre-ordered...will arrive in March/April).

The Secret of the Telegian R2 DVD

Monster Arts/SH Burning G
(Had no plans to get this, but my gf got it for me, and it's not too shabby of a figure all around).

Book:
Daizenshu Toho Special Effects Movies
(I'll write a review on this *HUGE* book later this week. Basically, it's a compilation of all of the movie booklets that came with the recent Deagosutini "Tokusatsu Toho DVD Movie Collection" series.)

A little bit of cash
Two really cool watches (to replace my Wal-Mart watch with a broken face)
The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien (which Amazon screwed up for my Mom, who is now trying to fix, so I haven't really gotten them yet)
The Amazing Spider-Man Blu-Ray
A fifty-dollar gift card to Sam's Club
lots of candy for my out-of-control sweet tooth.
