Wow guys. This is actually a much more nuanced discussion then I had planned on. I expected more of "I'm going to sell all of my Bandais!!" sort of responses. Seems like we have a nice, level-headed discussion here.

Since we really don't know what the final product will be (other than the conflicting word of mouth descriptions from the lucky punks at SDCC) what do people think of the first design that Legendary put out?

It's a pretty cool looking design. I think it'd be really great to use in an American Godzilla series, but it's not my favorite.
