It seems to me like, despite Shout's best efforts, we have to deal will Chaiyo's quality.

Still pumped for this release, though.

just watched my first episode of ultraseven. yeah the quality isn't great (audio skipped for a couple seconds on ep2 for me too)but I'm still glad just to have this be actually released.

oh and if you look on the back of the box - they put something like "hey man we used the best prints they were willing to give us - sorry" - obviously this is in my own words but its kinda funny since it kinda reads that way. : P

^They're pretty up-front about that kind of stuff. There's a few MST discs that start with a "Hey, the only copies they would give us have tape hits" disclaimer.
