They have this sale a couple times a year...another chance will come. I bought the Gojira release last time and that was I think 6 months ago.

When's the sale end now? I might have to pick this up sooner than I expected. D:

Did everyone who ordered from Barnes and Noble get a shipping-confirmation email? 'Cause I haven't gotten one yet; course I haven't gotten the discs, either. Was hoping I'd have the set for Thanksgiving, but guess it wasn't meant to be...

I just watched Genocide for the first time.

Talk about lunacy. This movie is crazy! Utterly over the top and melodramatic environmental/anti-war messages, killer insects, government conspiracies, gross wounds, adultery, subtle (and not so subtle) racism, and heaps of nihilism. This movie would be downright depressing if it wasn't so silly and nonsensical, but I love it. Its absolutely delirious.

Talk about a movie that just doesn't give a f*ck. Its awesome.

And those insect bites HAD to be real. Damn that looked painful.

I've waited a few decades to see The Living Skeleton and it was worth the wait. Loved it! Looking forward to checking out the rest of the set when I get a chance. :D

I watched Genocide last night and I'm not really sure what to think of it. It was so weird it was interesting.

Kind of weird that Barnes and Noble still hasn't shipped my copy (which I ordered Nov.1st). Anyone else having this problem? I e-mailed and asked and apparently they ran out of stock.

It's definitely a toss-up between X and Goke depending on your preference.

I mean, these aren't the best Japanese sci-fi films, but they're weird, kinda obscure ones that are fun to have. Don't go in expecting Gojira.
