I LOVE IT Came From Outer Space!!!!!! Hellz to the yeah for picking that up Mouth!

I do agree that cover art does not do the film justice at all.

Comparing the movie to The Day the Earth Stood Still...well...I actually think it's better paced so I prefer it.

Yup, it's a good'un from Universal's revival age. I was pleasantly surprised that the DVD has a featurette documentary and a commentary on it! I got to see it in a revival theater in 3-D and everything a few years ago. It was awesome!

And I agree, AWFUL artwork, but what are you gonna do? We're in the age of bad posters and DVD/BD art... photoshop has utterly destroyed it.

And if the monster is BEHIND them, why are they freaking out and looking the other direction?

And that's not even how the xenomorph looked!

I know many Star Wars fans are bored with this series, and many that dont watch at all. But in a season of 22 episodes, they still somehow manage to get usually Two story arcs (about 6 episodes) each season that keep my interest. If you want just the Darth Maul episodes, Target has a single disc DVD release of that as well which will have a wide relase come January 2013.
There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.

The show has gotten REALLLY hit or miss with me during the last season, and I think it's made worse by the fact the arcs seem to have gotten bigger. Still, I like seeing different people take on the star wars universe.

Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.

Just made an amazon order for two Harryhausen movies which I expect to arrive early next week: Mysterious Island (winner of the recent viewing poll) and "The 3 Worlds of Gulliver" (I'm almost done reading the Jonathan Swift novel).

I picked up DVDs of Hammer's Revenge of Frankenstein, Dario Argento's Mother of Tears, and an extra copy of King Kong Escapes at my local Big Lots last week. Each one was only $3!
God is in the details.
