Reading volume 1 (of 4) of the complete translation of Journey to the West done by William John Francis Jenner. I previously read the very abridged but very readable Arthur Waley version.

Finished The Lost World on Saturday there and I'm now reading Selected Tales of Edgar Allan Poe and H.P. Lovecraft's The Call of Cthulhu (And Other Weird Tales).

I've taken a break from Poe and Lovecraft (found reading them concurrently was very heavy-going), so I'm now reading The History of Mr. Polly, by the brilliant H.G. Wells.

Great Ghost Stories in Large Print edited by Mary C. Allen

Wanted a compendium of (mostly old) ghost stories. This one has 'The Monkey's Paw' and Dickens' 'The Signalman,' two stories I've always wanted to read, so when I saw it at the library's Halloween display I snatched it up.

Been wanting to get around to reading SOMETHING.. I haven't had the chance lately to sit down with a carton of orange juice/cup of coffee and read a good book.

Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.

I've read The History of Mr. Polly by H.G. Wells and Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury, so I'm now taking a light reading break and enjoying Godzilla Returns by Marc Cerasini,

Meg:
I enjoyed the series and liked "The Trench" and " Hell's Aquarium" out of the four.

Alien vs Dinosaurs:
I bought the hard cover book that contained the 1st four issues. I'm not really sure if they are going to resume this story, but I don't mind waiting. From what I heard, I believe the book was suppose to promote interest for a movie.......

Godzilla IDW:
So far I have been enjoying all of the five issues only stories. The main two comic stories have been a huge let down.
