Wha-wha-whaaaaat?

I didn't feel that at all. I could maybe see how someone could see that since Dredd shows some humanity towards the end with Anderson, but the guy isn't TOTALLY heartless... I mean, sure, Dredd is a fascist d*ck (as he should be), but he's not dead inside or anything.

I thought the characters (as shallow as one could argue they are) remained consistent throughout the entire film, from the beginning to the end.

Sounds like some people just want to find an excuse to tear down a great movie.
