What always strikes me as odd is how selective some tokusatsu fans can be when it comes to this kind of stuff. Some of them literally are just Godzilla fans, (which is fine, of course) but comments like "I could never get into the giant men in tights-scene" (Yes, this is an actual quote from somebody on a FB group in regards to Ultraman) really puzzle me. I mean, they're really not that different.

What's even more bizarre is that their are people who 'love' Jet Jaguar, but don't care for Ultraman (or similar series') one bit.
