Hey guys, kind of a weird question here. So I got my Godzilla vs. Megalon DVD today, watched it, and noticed something kind of strange. In the version of the film that I've grown up with (PD VHS tapes and the version shown on the Sci Fi Channel) there's a piece of sloppy editing right near the end of the film that seems to have been fixed at some point.
Here's the shot I'm talking about, at about 0:08 into it:

The three characters are seen running toward Jet Jaguar in one shot, then in the subsequent shot all four figures are just standing there, as if waiting for the director to yell "action", before picking up running again.
I first noticed that shot as a kid and have always just assumed it had something to do with the films rushed production. In the version on the MB DVD however, this has been fixed, and apparently there are other versions of the film where that was never an issue:

So the question is, what's the deal with that uncut shot? Was it a mistake in the original release of the film that Toho fixed later on? Or was it exclusive to the International version of the film? Any Ideas?
