Oh, wow! This has been the best year for kaiju and tokusatsu DVD releases in yeeeaaars! I've been holding out for a subtitled release against buying bootlegs for a while, and looks like my waiting is paying off! Brilliant!

Saw this on the FB page and went nuts! Please, please, please, let this finally be the start of more classic tokusatsu and sentai titles coming over! I was so hopeful when Red Baron and Iron King were released. And then the original Ultraman. But it's been five years since then. Don't let this be another flash in the pan.

I've been wanting to see this show for-EVER! I have little to no interest in Japanese super heroes (I've tried, just can not get into the likes of Ultraman) so those releases haven't really tempted me.

But a show that, from descriptions I've read, is a sort of Twilight Zone/X-files mash up that features giant Japanese monsters? How can you possibly go wrong?!

The whole Chaiyo thing does give me pause, but if I'm honest, it's not gonna give me enough pause to stop me from buying this...

I have quite the condrum on this I REALLY like Ultra Q based on the DVD I had but couldn't understand but I REALLY despise Chaiyo and what they did to Tsuburaya.
