When I was at Power Morphicon a few weeks ago a Shout! representative let this slip while I was talking with him about their Gamera releases, but he told me to keep quiet... damn that was hard. Though I did tell a few trustworthy people, who now at least know I wasn't lying! Sucks about the involvement of Chaiyo.. It's hard for me to decide where this situation falls into my whole philosophy of having bootlegs and unauthorized releases, cuz technically it apparently IS legal, just not, in many fans' senses, "right". Regardless I'll be buying the set and hopefully it will do well enough Shout! will invest in more toku.
