Just watched it! One of the weakest of the original Godzilla films, but still a whole lot of fun. It's always a trip to see it in original language after years of knowing the dub by heart.

I got this in the mail yesterday and watched it this morning. I forgot how amazingly ridiculous this movie is. So many memorable scenes, such as Jet Jaguar throwing the napalm bomb back at Megalon, the ring of fire, and the dropkick (!).

One thing I'm wondering is why there isn't a female character in it (aside from dancing seatopians). Although I guess since it was pretty much made for little boys in Japan it sort of makes sense, with the child character and the two adult men with extreme professions (professional racer and electrical engineer).
