Mine came in the mail today while I was at home on my lunch break. I have to say, I really like this cover art! I put the DVD in for a few minutes and skimmed through some of the scenes. I've only ever been able to watch this movie on VHS or MST3K, so this DVD is an amazing improvement. Even the DVD menu made me smile, particularly because of the music. The video looks great, the audio is clean and the 5.1 Japanese track is my new favorite way to watch this movie. I'll definitely double-dip for the special edition blu-ray if/when that happens!

I ordered mine late Wednesday night early Thursday Morning I got it today. :eek:

I wasn't expecting it till tomorrow what a pleasant surprise. I'll probably skim through it tonight since I watched it not to long ago.

I'm watching it right now and the picture quality is fanfugutastic. The English track is a little blown out but both of the Japanese tracks sound great.

Never having seen this in wide screen, high quality, it is a revelation. The quality is enough to make it seem like a better movie. Though we have scenes like Jet Jaguar, a robot, getting dizzy and other foolishness like that. But really this is completely enjoyable.
