The reason why I posted this picture is because if you look on the right, you see New Kirk City, which Mothra ravished in her debut film (called Mothra of course) in the fictional country of Rolisicia (an obvious stand in for the U.S.A. and Soviet Union). Take closer look and you actually see bits of Manhattan in the poster. Notice the U.N. Building, the Chrysler, well as the Empire State, which are clearly visible. The New York City connection to New Kirk City was so blatant that they featured the actual skyline in the movie poster.
