Honestly, midnight screenings and cosplaying is pretty much ruined by this prick just as much as he ruined the lives of those going to see the movie. He has taken the fun out of everything in multiple ways.

People aren't going to stop cosplaying and whooping it up at midnight screenings just because of one event. If there's one thing the American people are, it's resilient. And if there's two things, the second is stubborn.

People are going to be DETERMINED not to let something like this ruin their fun.

I know it won't be for QUITE SOME TIME, but I'm guessing the next Batman film (hell, maybe even the next SUPERHERO film, which WON'T be too far long away), there will be some hugely moving outpouring of good will at the midnight release...
