The major praise I will give the Tristar Film is that the marketing was ingenious. It was seriously one of the best movie marketing campaigns I have ever seen, probably on par with the Burton Batman film. Too bad the film didn't live up to it, but oh well.

I am looking forward to seeing how they market this film. We are living in an age where Godzilla is viewed as being campy and an age where the US has already failed once at a Godzilla movie. It will be interesting to see how they approach presenting this.
