As for the "grounded" comment - isn't it kind of obvious after this director did Monsters, a film completely from the perspective of the ground level humans during a giant monster scenario?

I think when a lot of people give the "grounded, based on real life, ect." spiel they're really just full of hot air and saying they're making everything gritty and whatnot, but given Edward's track record I think he actually means it.

Why are a lot of people on Facebook acting like this looks like GINO? As in they literally keep saying it looks like GINO?

Are people blind or are they just desperate to complain about something?
