Hi. New poster here. Some of you might already know me from facebook, or G-Fest. I actually made this account a while back ago, but never logged on. I don't participate in many on-line social forums, but was told that this place was a good source for intellectual discussions on movies and such.

I may or may not stick around, but thought I'd pop in to check it out.

Also, I heart Godzilla.

Hey everyone, this is a good real life friend of mine and the first female to post on this board in several years... treat her kindly. You may remember her from several episodes of my podcast (most notably the G-Fest one).

Erichka, you may be forced to shrink your avatar (or find a smaller one). They like small avatars here (no greater than 100 pixels tall and 100 pixels wide).

Why is my avatar so freakin big? Shouldn't it automatically shrink?

I also wanted to add this note: I'm a moderator on a music forum where the men to woman ration is about 50:1. The place is drowning in testosterone and elitist snobbery. For the most part, the joining of a female member, especially when one has POWER, can turn out to be a really bad social experiment. But I honestly don't expect that from any of you here. Many of you might already know me from elsewhere, so I assume that it will be different. Anyway, I look forward to any geek discussions that I might take apart of.

Jared, you should check out the art of Junko Mizuno. I recently became familiar with her work when she joined Amphetamine Reptile Records and artist Haze XXL in a series of 7" LPs and posters. Anyway, I was browsing her other work, and noticed she did some "Pony" Art. She contributed to a project where she made a limited edition figure, and also, a couple of illustrations.

But beware: her work is very bizarre. Cute, but weirdismmos.

Never understood the brony thing, but that's cool...I guess :wink:
