New Addition to the family
Marmit Monster Heaven Desu-Goji (2012 Super Festival Variant):
When I am wrong (which is rare...bwahaha!

:turnbad: ), I will admit it. I've never understood the fascination with this figure and always found it overrated (this might be due to me being jaded with the overabundance of G95 "burning" figures in general) but after picking this up and actually holding it in my hands, I stand corrected...this is one of the best Marmit Godzilla figures. Now I have ripped Marmit's Heisei Godzilla figures as a whole....however, this one is the lone exception, and was made in 2007 when Marmit was at their peak and right before they started going downhill.
This variant is a newer one apparently released this year (though several variants before it look
very similar...in fact, I mistook it for several previous variants when looking at the CT figures section for reference...but it is indeed different from anything pictured there. I like it and think it's rather sharp looking. Overall, I'm very pleased to finally have this guy in my rag tag collection after years of passing on him. He was quite expensive though (more than my Gigabrain at 17,000 yen...ouch!

)...not really sure why this figure is so expensive, as it's one of the most common Marmits I come across in Japan and, believe it or not, 17,000yen is actually the *cheapest* I've seen for this particular figure, regardless of variant. Anyone know why this one is always so expensive?
Anyways, here are the photos.
