Yeah, I understand why everyone has caught onto TV so well... you can do so much with character and story in long form that you can't do in a movie. It really is a great format. I just don't have time to keep up with everything. I honestly don't understand some people I know that watch pretty much EVERY show... I don't know where they have the time.

The only shows I make sure to watch right now are the Walking Dead and Boardwalk Empire... and I'm still a whole season behind on Boardwalk. I've been meaning to check out Game of Thrones, but at this point who knows when I'll get around to that. I watched a little bit of Sons of Anarchy (mostly for Henry Rollins) and thought it was pretty cool... but again, I just don't have the time to keep up with all this stuff... Everyone tells me I NEED to watch Dexter because I'd love it, but they are in like the eighth season or something! I mean, I can barely stay on top of my rapid movie and music consumption  That's why I like catching shows when they start... I'm pretty excited for that show that Sam Raimi and David Cronenberg are working on... I'll be watching that for sure... and I don't watch really any comedic TV at all... I thought Holliston on FearNet was really funny, but it was a tiny first season that just passed... I'll catch the odd South Park episode every now and then (and that show, I honestly feel is WAY beyond its best years). I've seen a little bit of Community and liked it, but it isn't something I've really followed.

Most of the actual TV I watch is documentary style stuff on Discovery, Nat Geo, etc. because I'm a big f*cking nerd.

I downloaded the 3DS demo for Amazing
Spider-Man The Game and while it was a really fun game,it didn't fill me with hope for the film. When you catch up with Black Cat (boss of the demo level) she asks (sorry
I'm paraphrasing, don't remember word-for-word) where Peter got the stuff that made him spiderish and Curt lizardish because she'd like to get her claws on some power or some cliched nonsense.

Now obviously the tie-in game may or may not be indicitive of the film, but that cinema scene left a funny taste in my mouth. It kind of seemed like a 80's TMNT cartoon vibe, where everyone's fighting over animal mutation powers. Again, could just be my imagination.

This just goes to show how bad studios have gotten when it comes to promoting movies. Not only do they show everything in the trailers, they show a new clip from the movie like every day. I remember when they did this with movies like Iron Man 2, where I already felt like I'd seen the movie when I went and saw it.

Anyway, someone put together all the clips from trailers and online clips into one video... its 25 f*cking minutes. That's a third or a fourth of the entire movie given away already!

Anyway, you can watch the 25 minute version of the Amazing Spider-Man here:
