I had my GF and my best bud ask me the same thing, knowing what a Hulk fan I am. From what I can gather from the film, Loki was using his natural ability to influence moods, amplified by the scepter (which was part of the Tesseract and therefore giving off Gamma radiation), to agitate everyone in an attempt to turn them against each other. Banner's condition naturally made him more susceptible to this and therefor when he did change the Hulk was more like the classic Savage Hulk, who lashed out at anyone he deemed doing/trying to do him harm.

The 2nd time Bruce was not influenced by either Loki or the scepter and therefor he had control of both the metamorphosis itself AND more control over the Hulk, although even that seems to be a "loose reins" control at best (LOL), hence popping Thor upside the head in retaliation for their earlier skirmish, and what he took to be a cheap shot on Thor's part for hitting him with the hammer (a weapon) while Hulk was "unarmed" in their fisticuffs.

They looked like rotted zombies or something... kept alive by the armor, which I assumed also kept them under control. Hence the control ship goes up ...and they drop like flies.

Yeah, I mean I still loved the movie, but it's still a fault.

Apparently David Hasselhoff is upset that they didn't call him back to play Nick Fury.
[quote]
“I love Sam Jackson, but you know… my Nick Fury was the organic Nick Fury that was written and discussed with Stan Lee before anyone got in there to change it. Nick Fury was written to be tongue-in-cheek, and he had a cigar in his mouth, he was a tough guy — he was cool.

Stan Lee said, ‘You’re the ultimate Nick Fury... Avi Arad, when they bought it, said, ‘Don’t worry, you’re going to be the Nick Fury forever,’ and they lied. [Pause] But that happens to me all the time. That’s when you realize life isn’t fair.â€

I'm not saying the Hoff is as good at acting as Sam L.,but he did look and act more like the real Fury. Having anything Millar Ultimates in the movie is dumb.

You must show no mercy, nor have any belief whatsoever in how others judge you... for your greatness will silence them all!
