EDIT: Whoops, Gojira Prime beat me to it. Thanks dude!
Mike, I don't actually remember if there was an Iwakura Mechanikong and don't have an Iwakura/Orion reference handy, but I don't think it matters whether or not you meant vinyl figures. If one exists, that would be enough to show that a MonsterArts Mechanikong would be possible, however slight. The lack of one when Iwakura was able to license both Toho Kongs would point to your original case still holding true now. I myself don't believe we will get one in MonsterArts simply because it would be more hassle than Bandai will want to handle. There's easier ways to get collectors to shell out money than a legal nightmare like that; the chance that Bandai could doesn't mean that they will want to do it.
Re: the argument in favor of vinyl figures or MonsterArts, it is entirely silly and pointless. Both types of figures are intended for entirely different purposes. There's room in my heart for both, and even if there isn't in yours, any of yours, there's no need to crap all over anyone who disagrees. That was a can of worms that didn't need opening Tim.
king_ghidorah, I know I'm late but to answer your question, I don't do much of it lately for time and space reasons, but typically I mess with my figures a lot, especially my favorites. Godzilla and Mechagodzilla reside at the front of my desk and I mess with Godzilla a ton. MG not so much.
