I think it's safe to say it's going to end up in the Top 10 of all time.

You know, I was wondering who the guy playing Thanos was and if it was someone they would get back for a future film. Apparently its someone who has worked with Whedon before, so he was a (kinda) established actor. If they don't get that guy back, they should just get it over with and call Ron Perlman.

Any guesses on what the future films will be? If I had to guess, I'd say part 2 could easily be Infinity Gauntlet and 3 could easily be Civil War (they already did a great job showing tensions between Cap and Iron Man).

It's not the size of the dog in the fight that matters. It's the size of the fight in the dog!!

Oh god. Perlman as Thanos? Yes plz.

But I'd say Infinity Gauntlet or something similar is a good bet for Part 2...
but plz..lets just have Ultron for the third film.

Civil War was a fun read, but I'd rather other Avengers stories make it to the screen first.

I don't think there will be an Avengers 3, at least not with all of the same cast. I remember reading in later 2008, after Iron Man had hit it big, that Robert Downey Jr. had just signed a four-picture deal with Marvel. That would include Iron Man 2, The Avengers, Iron Man 3, and Avengers 2. On top of Iron Man and his cameo in The Incredible Hulk, he'll have portrayed the character in a total of six films. Is he going to want to do more after Avengers 2?

I think Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans signed four-picture deals too, which would amount to two solo films for their respective characters and two Avengers mash-ups. Mark Ruffalo, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, and Cobie Smulders are probably the only sure bets of the current cast for any Avengers 3.

Well they've already discussed having Iron Man portrayed by different actors ala James Bond, and I'm fine with that.
