I watched episode 2 of this season. It was nice to see War Machine, and there were some heavy hints at civil war, but I'm still more interested to see the Skrull invasion and such.

saw the newest episode. I was kind of hoping to have the Captain America Skrull be revealed, but no such luck, now the plot only thickens. I guess this wont get totally resolved until episode 13 or so. Most sites only show a new episode for next week and thats it. But I hope new episodes continue into June, I'd like to see at least 1/2 of the 2nd season before they go into reruns.

I just saw this over at another board I frequent (same one where I first saw the rumor at). Marvel has actually done it, Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is officially cancelled.

Be positive. We got a Justice League cartoon and it was awesome and then they did Justice League Unlimited and it was also awesome. Maybe they plan to expand the Avengers roster like what was done in JL Unlimited? Hence the title Avengers Assemble. Thinking about it the Assemble part definitely has the feeling that they are expanding the roster. If so I hope Quasar is in it. And She Hulk.

According to reports, it's an all new show in the same continuity with the new Ultimate Spider-Man series. Expect plenty of humor, breaking the 4th wall, and certainly no story arcs. Not that any of this is a bad thing in a show -- it's just very disappointing that A:EMH is getting cancelled to do it.

Ultimate Spider-Man seems to be aiming for something directly in between Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends (which I've been found of ever since first watching it in the 80s) and the late Teen Titans series.
