Got all these guys from a handful of ebay auctions I won last week. Aside from the Tyrant (which is from 1994) they're all from the 1991 line and apparently they were all purchased at Pony Toys in NJ.

These are the ones I'm keeping...

And once I match them up to the ones I already own and see which are in better condition, these are the characters I plan to sell...

Cool stuff Lgion! I'm going to assume that you're going to switch out the old Gesura? Do you still have that one from the Japanese seller on eBay?

Hey Legion, i'd be interesting in buying the monster from Ultraman 80 (standing between Guts Seijin and Kanegon). How much you selling him for?

Yesterday I picked up a new Zetton and Bat Seijin.

Got these a couple of days ago thanks to James Bond of Radioactive Toys, who has a TON of Godzilla and Ultraman Bandais he's been collecting throughout the year which will be for sale at G-Fest in July...

Image

Aside from the green (tagged!) Astromons, which is from the 1989 line, everything here is from the 1991-1993 Ultramonster series. This leaves only four figures that I need in order to complete the 70-figure collection from that time frame: Namegon, King Joe, Takkong and Kilazee. Unfortunately it seems finding an undamaged King Joe from that era is impossible. But we'll see.

About a year ago me and my friend Greg took a trip to our friend Rob's house in Brooklyn, since he was selling his collection and invited us by to check it out. I ended up coming home with around 25 different Ultramonsters that day. Today we went back into Brooklyn to pay him another visit, and I came home with these guys...

Image

1991 Namegon, 1991 Kilazee, 1994 Gudon, original 1996 Golza, another 1991 Baltan and...ummm...what's his name again?

Either way, Namegon and Kilazee bring me even closer to finishing off the 1991-1993 line. Only King Joe and Takkong to go. Of course like I said it's tough to find an undamaged original King Joe. Meanwhile, while Monster Empire lists Takkong as number 41, the Figure-Oh Bandai Ultraman magazine doesn't picture it and skips 41 entirely. What gives? Anyone know what a 1991-release Takkong even looks like?

Damn Legion you're scoring left and right with the classic Ultra figures! Awesomeness!

I recently picked up this Bandai Ultraman Jonias at my local collectibles store.

So at long last (as a birthday gift) I got my own S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla! And ho boy, is it awesome.

The sculpt is just amazing, as is the attention to detail.

And best of all, no messed up eyes!

Enjoy it! I really think these Monster Arts are swell...but getting them as gifts is definitely preferable to shelling out cash for them.
