AmiAmi put up a few odd Marusan listings a couple days ago, but they've only recently updated with pics. One of those figures was a "METARICA" Gigan. Apparently, METARICA means "incredibly beautiful metallic finish". You can see reflections of the room where Gigan was photographed in his arms!

I'd forgotten entirely about the Marusan Gigan mold. It's no Monster Heaven, but I don't hate it either, and those colors make this one very, very tempting.

Marusan also has this Vivid Object series which includes an and a , as well as a 45th anniversary Gubira...

I LOVE GOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD.

One more thing - the X-Plus Giants Museum line are all 10cm figures, about four inches tall, which makes them rather expensive for their small size.

haha that gold Gubira looks almost like one of those video game digital trophies like you obtain in a mini-game or something. Looks like four movable legs on it.

Marmit is re-issuing their MH G74 in a more traditional "accurate" paint scheme. Looks very nice...but since I have this figure already and was never bothered by the metallic/stylized paint scheme, I will probably pass...
