As someone who is part of the generation who watched the Stooges on tv my first reaction to hearing about the movie was "BLASPHEMY!" But after watching the trailer I have to admit I found parts of it funny. I'm with RobD in that I'll look at this as a tribute act, and if the movie is good, I'll be very happy.

The Three Stooges-guess what? It was GREAT! If you loved the Three Stooges, I think you'll love the movie. It's a love letter to the original Stooges and the performances by Chris(Moe) Sean(Larry) and Will(Curly) are spot on. The mannerisms, routines, they even SOUND like them. Seriously, these guys did a fantastic job. It's broken down into 3 half hour "shorts" that all tie in together for the plot of the movie with the Stooges trying to save their orphanage. It's rated PG so it's a good family film to take the little ones to without being worried about content. The theater I was in was filled with all age ranges and it was cool to hear all the laughs. As a long time "Stooge Fan" I thought this was a trainwreck waiting to happen but the Farrelly Bros. did this right. Bravo guys, you did those knuckleheads proud!

It had its problems, but it was definitely funny. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the Jersey Shore segments.
