Take a look on Mandarake. I know that after he was first released, Golza regularly went for 5-7000 yen, but that was also a long time ago. Keep an eye on the site and search for ゴルザ. Nothing in-stock right now but that could easily change.

Baltan II, what do you think of the First Ultraman re-release? I know you commented before that you could see Bandai doing it as a newer sculpt. What do you think of the new look? :)

Image

I don't know why they are trying to give us that "running" effect for the ground. We could have used another Ultraman energy based attack or even the deflector shield wall. Would take about the same amount of plastic.

Well I am glad it won't be a long wait. Releasing the month after "Little Godzilla" MA is cool. We will more than likely see more pics of it at the upcoming Tamashii Volume III event in a few days. I can't wait...

Well, before this thread becomes abuzz with news from the Tamashii event, I had a few more pieces arrive from the line.

Image

I only need a few figures to actually be current with this line, but that'll change once Zoffy and a few of the newer figures are released.

Pics, of course! :D

Image

Kyrieloid's design has grown on me, since I watched him in action on Tiga. The details remind me of something out of the old Spawn toyline. Overall, he's still a nicely sculpted figure.

Image

Next was Leo.
Image

The funny thing about getting Leo is I actually picked up Astra first. So, I kind of knew what kind of figure I would be getting.

Image

He does come with some cool effects for ways to display him.

Image

Image

I do like the nunchucks that he comes with.

Image

He does compliment Astra nicely with the beam effect they both use. I"ll probably keep them displayed this way.

Finally, on to Alien Magma.

Image

There are a number of ways to display him including an alternate head, and several facial expressions. Pretty neat for a relatively plain alien.

And because Tiga was handy...

Image

Shades of Godzilla vs. Barkley :P

Magma is about to get schooled!

Btw, both figures are actually balanced without any stands, so they can have some interesting poses.

Now, where's the Tamashii news???

everyone that wanted a Red King can now relax...finally coming. Max looks surprisingly good as well as Gridman. I was hoping to see new pics of the renewed Ultraman, but I know that is forthcoming.

EDIT: Here are some new close ups of Red King and Max.

Image
looks like Tamashii got an idea like Y-MSF on making rocks (like when Y-MSF released the Toho Kong rock accessory).

and Ultraman along with Gridman...

But given past experiences with the likes of Baltan I, couldn't it be years before we actually see Red King in stores?

if there is a price set for Red King, that means it is coming most definitely. Where did you see that info Eleking (on the prices and dates, and what is that timeframe showing for Red King? I am not sure if it is trying to point towards August or not).

All of the prices are from Tamashii Features itself. The display cards have dates and prices for figures confirmed to have future releases.

well the event is over, and we got just a tad bit of new stuff shown.

Red King was nice to see. I had hoped though for a joint hiding technique like what you see on the SH MonsterArts line. Red King having those obvious joints looks a bit "suitish" but hey it is a new monster confirmed and coming. I know some of us were wanting to see Red King in the line soon. Wish fulfilled.

I was surprised to see Ultraman Max, and it looks good. I was hoping to see a Gridman monster at the event. They should have had one.
