Sounds like the guy(s) running the MB FB page don't actually know what the hell they're talking about.

Seahawk asked them if the new transfer was from an English print. They quickly responded, but then deleted their first response (but it said that they were using Toho's HD master after all. What the F?) Here is what they said:

From Media Blasters FB page-"Meaning Japanese HD master amd audio taken from print".

So, it sounds like they only took the English audio from Toho's international print (judging by their previous comments that I didn't mention), and are planning on using Toho's HD master after all. I asked them to confirm this (I also asked if the English credits would still be included as extras like originally planned), but they have yet to respond.

Because I ordered my Destroy All Monsters DVD from rightstuf.com back in October, the folks at that website now see fit to spam my mailbox with their anime catalog.

I regret this decision.

Anyway, finally got my BD copy of DAM from Amazon, one that is available.
