^On a slightly related note, there are a few instances of Hayao Miyazaki and Joe Hisashi going back and tinkering with the audio for the US releases of their Studio Ghibli films. The pop song that originally ended Nausicaa is replaced with a reprise of the opening music (which fits it very well, imo) and the English dub version of Castle in the Sky has some musical moments beefed up with more lush orchestration (the Japanese audio, however, is unchanged).

Maybe if we all buy this it'll give Media Blasters enough money to pay Toho off and get Megalon out?

Yeah, no. Megalon please.

I have the Gamera the Brave DVD and I don't think I've ever watched this. I don't see the blu-ray as something I'd bother purchasing.

Megalon please.

I'll buy this Blu Ray when I have the money. It's my second-favorite Gamera film and I REALLY want some more classic-style suitmation films in HD.

I agree Jared, and Legion...to each his own. I love this film so it's a must have for me. But I do want Megalon on blu ray in a bad, bad way.

I'd trade this out for a Megalon release anyday. Unfortunately, it keeps looking more and more like it won't happen.

Just placed my order with amazon. It's a fun film and I enjoy it, but I'm purchasing this more for my soon-to-be-wife. This is one of the few kaiju films she genuinely appreciates and enjoys!

Amazon.com is now listing the GAMERA THE BRAVE Blu-ray for release on the 12th of June, which is a push back from what I think was the 22nd of may.

With the recent news of Media Blasters going under, what do we think?

You're all damn pessimists. They recently licensed Squid Girl season 2 so clearly they believe they're going to be around a while longer. Have some faith. It's like some of you guys want them to shut down.

So Amazon shows this as being in-stock? Is it out or no, and does anyone have it?
