Fascinating! The interviewer reminds me a lot of some of those monster book authors of the 1980s and 90s, who wrote about Godzilla and friends and were often quite erroneous.

Mr. Schneider's comments about my commentary of GODZILLA'S REVENGE/ALL MONSTERS ATTACK are pretty odd. He extrapolates that I have a lack of depth of knowledge of Godzilla. I guess he doesn't realize that I resisted saying everything I know about Godzilla movies during a 70-minute commentary. I could talk for more than 70 minutes about Godzilla movies; I was talking about one movie, that really isn't a Godzilla movie -- it's about a kid who dreams about Godzilla. I decided to direct my comments at adults who already know Godzilla movies not self-absorbed film theorists. I regret that he felt I lacked "passion" for GODZILLA'S REVENGE, even though throughout, I tried to point out the qualities that most viewers might have missed.

Yeah, that commentary was really well-done. You seem to have some misgivings about the final product, but I for one am very satisfied with it.
