Man, I LOVE the first episode of Taro. Astromons is definitely one of my favorite Ultra Kaiju, Kotaro is just delightfully retarded, and I think Zat's uniforms are hilarious! Welcome to the 70s Ultra series, Rob! :lol:

It's worth noting that Oildrinker is a Chojuh, or "Super Beast," as opposed to a Kaiju. He's considered the last Chojuh ever at the time, left over from the great invasion of Chojuh that occurred in the last series, Ultraman Ace. Oildrinker being overpowered and devoured by Astromons was meant to show how much stronger Taro's kaiju were compared to Ace's Chojuh.

the Tyrant should have been great but unfortunotly its a waste of a great opportunity....

Zoffy is defeated by Tyrant as if he was an incompetant fool ...yet according to every book in the last 40 years ...he is supposed to be the strongest brother.
Actually they all fare pretty bad agaisnt TYRANT....
The fight with TARO should have be awesome and exciting ....it was a huge let down ...and every part of that ULTRA BAD story with the kid and his bycicle.....awful.

Its still a fan favorite because it was great to see the brothers fight and Tyrant is one of Taro s best looking monsters....BUT it should have been a great ep alas.....
