I see nothing wrong the title. I love the cheekiness to it and I'm glad they've dropped the numbers. Title 2, Title 3...etc.. are easy and lame. The real question is what happened to sequel titles like Revenge of the Creature, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Dawn of the Dead, Aliens...etc... Now those are great sequel titles.

Slightly off topic, but for all his over-the-top grandeur, I was always disappointed Raimi never titled his Spider-Man sequels with more enthusiasm. Instead it was just...2 and 3.

I don't know who started putting a number after a title to indicate a sequel first, but I borderline wish he had been shot before he did it. I don't have any sequels to books lying around with such titles.

On the other hand I'm seeing a slow progression away from the numerical titles. So my disappointment isn't as powerful as it was ten years ago.

To be honest, as a kid I always hated when people in my class would automatically put "PART 2" after everything. "DID YOU WATCH STAR WARS PART TWO?" Ugh. I sometimes even hear it in showtime recordings around here. "Harry Potter Part 6". It's a weird habit I don't believe I've observed anywhere else I've been.

ehh...one of the things with Die Hard has kinda always been the stupid titling.
Die Hard
Die Harder
Die Hard with a Vengeance
Live Free or Die Hard

Doesn't really bother me. It's one of the things that makes Die Hard Die Hard.
