Rebooting the series 4 years after the last film makes no sense. Not that the Transformers movies are well known for their logic, but this obsession Hollywood has with rebooting everything is driving me crazy.

Everything Michael Bay and Lorenzo di Bonaventura have said makes it sound like this isn't going to be a reboot, but a sequel with very few returning characters (Optimus and Bumblebee) that takes things in a new direction. Whether that last part ends up being true remains to be seen, but this definitely sounds like it will be part 4 in the film series.

Yeah, I mean I feel like Dark of the Moon was closer to that....but it was still pretty bad.
