I see a lot of praise for this trailer. I honestly don't feel all that impressed. It doesn't look much different from the Spiderman films we've already seen from Raimi.

I think I'd like to see the Raimi Spiderman movies before I watch this one. I've only seen the first one, about...a long effing time ago. I remember it didn't impress me much, but I haven't really been interested in the superhero thing until recently. My sister, who is not a science-fiction person, loved them, so I'm going to check them out. But I think that trailer does look cool, and the comedy thing doesn't bother me. In fact, I hope it is sort of funny at times.
